Despite grey and cool conditions, the Party in the Park on
Saturday was a great success with lots of people of all ages enjoying games,
music and cream teas. LCBC wanted to celebrate being well over halfway through the building process, and to thank other villagers for their patience during this time.
There were plenty of games, from football competitions to a boy racer challenge
and from nerf guns shooting into a bucket to bouncing balls into jamjars!
For the children there were bouncy castles, facepainting and even a tug of war....
and when you needed a rest there were cream teas and cakes galore.
And of course, great music the whole afternoon.
Thanks to everyone who worked so hard to make this a fun party!
