LCBC’s chapel was built in 1853. One of the earliest photos we have is this
one, from the Edwardian era (early 1900s).
The interior was painted pale green, with darker green stencilling
around the windows:
At some point in the next half century, blue curtains and
carpets were introduced. Mr Herbert Shrimpton is playing the organ:
