Sunday was an important day for the Poote family. Simon and Madeline, with sister Sophie, brought 7 month old
Molly Rose for a service of dedication, and brother James and Katherine brought the very new - 13 day old - Lily Faith also to be dedicated. Well supported by friends and relatives the
two sets of parents promised, with God's help, to bring their children up to
know and love Jesus.
The LCBC congregation, as well as also making similar promises of support for the parents and children, watched with bated breath as new dad James appeared about to juggle tiny Lily, and chuckled in sympathy as the more experienced father, Simon, almost gave his daughter the wrong name! We wish both families, seen here with Pastor Jeff Steadman, much joy in their lovely daughters.
